Most likely because people experienced leaving a dental office with a bad taste in their mouth (all puns intended). Perhaps the dentist was insensitive to their needs, scared them emotionally and didn’t pay attention to them. They are afraid of dentists. This generally stems from a bad experience early in their life. Does your dentist always listen and respect what you are saying and feeling?

A practicing dentist since 1982, Dr Gary R Imm, provides advanced cosmetic dentistry, including smile makeovers, sedation, implant and TMJ services in the Baltimore Metropolitan region. He is committed to progressive, extraordinary care for his guests. All Smiles Dental Care trains at least 300 hours each year at such prestigious centers as the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dentistry.

A graduate of the University of Maryland at Baltimore Dental School, where he earned a doctorate of dental surgery in 1982, Dr Imm then returned to become an Assistant Clinical Professor until 1999. He has been published in many well-respected dental and medical publications over the years and continues an active coaching practice helping other dentists succeed.

Committed to excellence, Dr Imm has taken many courses and been certified in many advanced dental fields and techniques. All of his training benefits the guests in his practice who receive the best care possible when they step into his office.

Dr Imm also loves to share his talents with those in need. Over the years, he has completed a mission trip to Costa Rica, as well as serving regularly the Hoffman Memorial Clinic in Smith Island, Maryland. He is also an annual volunteer for the Smiles for Life Foundation, as his team consistently places in the top 50 offices in the nation in donations to the fund to help this children’s charity.

The All Smiles Dental team has earned several other awards including the Best Dental Office in Carroll County, and the Best Customer Service Award in Carroll County. Additionally in 2002, they were selected from among the top 150 offices in the United States as the office that implemented the best guest care techniques by the Master Plan Alliance.

An active member of his church, Dr Imm enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and gardening. He and his wife of 24 years and their daughters live in the Westminster, Maryland area.
