February is National Dental Health Month, and provides a time to focus awareness on positive dental health habits. Use this month as a kickstart to a year of better dental habits. What are some small improvements you can make?
- Schedule your next cleaning. Most children and adults should get their teeth cleaned every six months unless otherwise directed by their dental health professional.
- Floss! As we’ve talked about in previous posts, brushing only cleans 60% of your teeth, but most people don’t take the time to floss daily. For some flossing tips and alternatives, see here.
