invisalign
Invisalign can straighten your teeth with the use of clear retainers instead of brackets, giving you straighter teeth without anyone even knowing you have “braces”!

If you are currently using Invisalign treatment, or about to start, we have compiled a list of helpful hints and tips to keep your mouth in tip-top shape as you complete your journey to straighter teeth.

1. Leave your new aligner in as much as possible in the first 48-72 hours after receiving it. This is the time when your teeth may shift the most, and when the aligner will do the most adjusting. As with traditional braces, upon receiving a new aligner, you may experience some slight discomfort as your teeth adjust. This can be taken care of with normal pain relievers. Please call our office right away if that doesn’t take care of the issue.

2. Keep on brushing and flossing! Even though you are wearing the aligner and it may seem like it could shield your teeth from staining and bacteria, it doesn’t. The bacteria can still get around the aligner and cause plaque or cavities, so keep up your oral hygiene.

3. Ask us anything! At All Smiles Care, we are here to help. Do not hesitate to call us with questions or concerns about your orthodontia.
